Enterpreneurship Development Cell - AGRATA

AGRATA – The Entrepreneurship Cell is a manifestation of the efforts, ideas, dreams and aspirations of every individual associated with it. It is established to develop and nourish the latent entrepreneurial spirit which is inherent in every learner and help them gain a broader and more importantly, entrepreneurial perspective of looking at life in every situation thus empowering them to excel as  entrepreneurs.

 

 

Objectives

  • Motivated to engage in entrepreneurship activities and businesses
  • More comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneur and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Understand the process and content sides of being an entrepreneur
  • Improve their management capabilities
  • Participate with innovative ideas in business contest in order to understand how to work as a team and develop their entrepreneurial mindset and marketing techniques

 

Events

The following activities are planned as part of celebrations of Mathematics Day on December 22nd , Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birthday

  • Sensitize students on Entrepreneurship at Induction stage and orientation to students
  • Conduct awareness programs in house and other institutes
  • Enhancing industry institute interaction through guest lectures and industry visits
  • Conduct programs on idea generation and business plan preparation and skill development
  • A keynote speakers from Industries related to “Discussion on Opportunities for entrepreneurs”
  • Idea Workshop both for students and staff/Case study competitions(ideas related to relevant/technological/skill/Government/Political issues
  • E – Week celebrations during the month of February/March every year
  • Arrangement of session on “Entrepreneurship as a way of Life”
  • Collaboration with National Entrepreneurial Net Work (NEN)/LIONS CLUB
  • Business modeling workshop

Activities Done

  • An Expert Lecture on “A Zooming Technologies to Industrial Automation” arranged by Advanced Training Institute and Process Electronics & Instrumentation division(ATIPEI) at Ramanthapur, Hyderabad. Lecture is delivered by Shri C.S.Murthy, Deputy Director, ATIPEI
